![]() The Modding log shows that the game tries to load all of the mods but gets the same error every time for each mod (error: tried to write to a read-only database), and then skips that mod. Whenever I do this, the mods do not show up in the Installed tab, only appearing in the "Subscribed" tab.ĮDIT: I checked the Modding document in the Logs folder before and after trying to load the game with the mods. I have no idea what to do and am extremely mad because every single tutorial out there just says to install the mods from the Steam Workshop and look for them in the Installed tab. Regardless of whether I am subscribed or not to the mods on Steam, no files show up in the "Mods" folder of Civ 6, other than the one folder I manually put there. Unsubscribing from the mods, looking for the "More Lenses" mod online, extracting the mod's zip file into Documents/MyGames/Sid Meier's Civilization 6/Mods as a folder: it still doesn't work, the mod doesn't show up in both the "Installed" and "Subscribed" tab.unsubscribing from the mods, uninstalling Civ 6, unistalling Steam, restarting and updating my pc, installing Steam and Civ 6 again, subscribing to the mods (in that order): still doesn't work, issue remains the same.unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mods: doesn't work, same issue repeats.Upon creating a completely fresh new game, the mods aren't there. When sorting by "Community-made", it turns up empty. The only things I see here are the official content availible from expansions. However, they do not appear in the Installed tab. ![]() The mods I subscribed to appear in the "Subscriptions" tab, with the text "installed" above every single one of them. I launched the game and went into Additional Content -> Mods. something for a split second, and then no more info. The Steam app showed that it was downloading. I went into the workshop and subscribed to the entire list of mods. ![]() If you launch the game through Steam, this executable is most probably executed by default. The latter one is meant for high-end graphics cards and targets the latest hardware. One is Civilization VI and one is CivilizationVIDX12. I wanted to use PotatoMcWhiskey's mod collection for Civ 6 on Steam. When you install Civilization VI, it creates two executables.
